Welcome Remarks

The As-Shofa Foundation exists as an integrated Islamic educational institution committed to producing a generation of knowledgeable, faithful, and noble characters. Since its founding on May 2, 1991, As-Shofa has continued to grow, offering four levels of education—kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school—all of which are A-accredited, making it one of the oldest and most trusted integrated Islamic schools in Pekanbaru.

History of As-Shofa School

The As-Shofa Foundation was established on May 2, 1991, coinciding with National Education Day, by the late Ust. Drs. H. Syafwi Khalil, M.Pd. The foundation began with As-Shofa Islamic Elementary School in the 1991/1992 academic year with only 10 students and 4 teachers, starting learning activities in the mosque.

Over time, As-Shofa continued to grow, opening a junior high school in 2000, a kindergarten in 2005, and a high school in 2007, completing an educational ecosystem from early childhood to high school.

Curriculum: Independent Curriculum combined with Islamic education, tahsin (recitation of the Quran), and memorization (tahfidz).
